- 1 tsp White Sugar
- 1 Lime

Place the bird's eye chilies, toasted shrimp paste, sugar, MSG, and salt onto a mortar and pestle.

Grind the ingredients together until they reach your desired consistency.

Add the chopped tomatoes to the mortar and continue grinding to combine.

Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture, and grind in the lime peel as well to finish.
