Bruleed Brie
A rich and decadent appetizer featuring a melted wheel of Brie topped with a crackling, caramelized sugar crust.

Ingredients
- 1 Brie (rind removed from top)
- 2 tbsp White Sugar (for topping)
Instructions

Carefully slice off the top layer of the rind from the Brie wheel to expose the cheese.

Place the Brie wheel into a small cast-iron skillet or an oven-safe baking dish.

Heat the Brie in the oven until it is completely melted and gooey (approx. 10 minutes at 350°F / 175°C).

Sprinkle an even layer of white sugar over the top of the melted cheese.

Using a kitchen torch, melt and caramelize the sugar until it forms a dark, bubbly amber crust.

Allow the sugar to set and harden for about 1 minute before cracking the top with a spoon and serving.
