Tiramisu Affogato
A decadent fusion of classic Tiramisu and Affogato, featuring a rich whipped mascarpone topping over vanilla bean ice cream with a hot espresso finish.
Ingredients
- 4 oz Mascarpone (at room temperature)
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- ¼ cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Chicken Egg (yolk only)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 Ice Cream (vanilla bean flavor; 1 scoop per serving)
- 1 Cocoa Powder (for dusting)
- 4 Lady Fingers (split in half; 1 per serving)
- 4 Espresso (hot; 1 shot per serving)
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone, egg yolk, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and powdered sugar.

Whip the mixture using a hand mixer on medium-high speed until light, fluffy, and thick enough to hold its shape.

For each serving, place one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream into a glass or dessert bowl.

Top the ice cream with a generous dollop of the whipped mascarpone cream.

Tuck two lady finger halves into the side of the cream.

Dust the top lightly with cocoa powder.
